December 09 +=_*"^"*_=+ Ecolism +=_*"^"*_=+MY PAH-TOE~*
It's been a long time to turn up in here, I have been kind of setting myself into the "busy status" for the past 2-3 weeks time!
First of the things I'm going to write about is........
Last weekend I went to PAH-TOE in Chumporn with my friends.
Ple was the person who arraged everything because she knows a lot about PAH-TOE by visiting there last term(Probably)
We waited for the van for hours and finally it appeared approximately 1 o'clock in the early morning.
By the way while we're waiting for the van, all of us were expected to see the sea of frost there.
While we're in the van, about 3 am. in the morning and we headed to Chumporn, we were trapped in the flood. The water were running across the steet heavily and we were all afraid that we couldn't reach to PAH-TOE.
Luckily our van was high enough to pass through.
To be continue~*
Approximately 8 o'clock in the morning we arrived there. It rained a bit but the weather was really cold but awesome!!
We waited for the person taking us up to the hill at the PAH-TOE information center. About 30 minutes he came and picked us up. He was the head of the BANN KLONG RUA village. Coming with his red truck was making us feel exiting because you know this time we travel is kind of adventure tourism!! cool isn't it??
PAH-TOE~*
Day 1~*
When we get there. It was quite rained. Firstly at the Klong Rua village we met the teacher called "Kru Aoun" he guided us how to stay and the programme we were going to attain. Then we had a cup of coffee.
It's the villager's product, they grow fresh coffee for the wisdom industry. It smelled very nice and reall tastety to drink. The cup was specific for this kind of coffee, made of bamboo.I could feel the bamboo smell. The villager showed us how to produce the coffee product. It's complecated to tell here if you interested to know call me!
We got one of the cup. Soon after, the canoeing was waiting for us. We walked about a kilo to the river's edge where we were going down to the adventure.
It's a bamboo canoe, cintaining 6-8 of us each. First we splashed water onto ourselves. Very cold man!
The route was about one and a half kilo. Along the river, the padder pawed us the SOM-O as a snack. All of us went into the river by fallen and because of the rough route as well.
After all we went to the village by walking too. We were going to sleep at the school's playground. We showered in the stream falling from the core of the waterfall. The water was quite cool and felt very chilled out!
The dinner served with wisdom vegetables, NUM-PRICK, traditional soup (actually was really spicy but they called Soup) and rice cooked from the bamboo. At the end of the day, we slept in the tent. Before going to sleep we drank white alcohol with the villagers. We had a game of gambling and went to bed together.
Day 2~*
None of us woke up for the sunrise excepted me. At dawn I woke up for the sunrise but couldn't see it because of the too many clouds. Only thing I could see and feel was the frost. It covered all over the village I took the picture of it if you guys out there wish to see it just go to my photos icon! It wasn't as good as I expected but very nice ones.
Then all of us woke up by the other's people voices. They came to have breakfast aroud our tent. About the meals I won't write about them any more because they were very nice and delicious. No where I could have them like here at PAH-TOE.
We didn't have a shower, on time for it!!! eieieieieiei...
After clean our stuff, we went to the school which closed to our accommodation. We painted T-shirt for the students. They have alittle chance to have a study and also not enough money for their food. What I painted is showed in the photo. It's about the symbol of the village. Thing they do and have. I love the Klong Rua.
After that we had to walk to the HOUW-TA-CHAN waterfall. It's 6 kilo repeating by the KAREIANG's culculate. Along the way there was the pure nature. The route was made by the villager wothout disturbing the environment. Suitng to the concept of ecotourism.
I felt really tired but when I met the waterfall everything was changed. It's very very very beautiful and marvellous. We could go into the water's certain. Feeling the cold water, touching the smooth rocks and talking things we love to while laying in the moving water was unforgetable. It made me love it more.
Day 3~*
I woke up sorely after visiting the HOUW-TA-CHAN waterfall. The program today was go up the hill about half a kilo to watch a special lotus called " BUA-PUD" Unhopefully, fortunately we could only see then while they were still unbloomed. That because of the rainy season.
Then we stucked by rain in the host of the village house.
Finally we went back to the place we stay. The last feast was made for us and was really delicious. The same person came up to pick us up. We told people there that we promise to give KLONG RUA a visit for sure.
PS~* After visiting there I had a wound by a RAN warm. Keep me sore and pain for it. Damn it!! Comments (8)
